The craving to find the absolute best hand blender in India to satisfy my taste buds!
Yeah, I am a food junkie…
Until recently, hand blenders were considered an optional kitchen appliance. For example, my mom never uses a hand blender, and my wife too thinks this as not so important kitchen appliance.
Nowadays, my wife & mom prepare deliciously, lip smacking, finger licking, unheard of dishes for me!
The secret -- YouTube cooking videos!
Many of the “new” dishes require a hand blender or an immersion blender (as called in the US) to prepare correctly, and so the beautiful ladies asked me to get one.
A hand blender is perfect for Cakes, Smoothies, Milk Shakes, Thick Shakes, Creamy Soups, Sauces…
Don’t get me wrong.. There are also a few healthier dishes that a blender can help you with… like a sugar-free avocado smoothie and… can’t think of healthy recipes, śorry.
It was for my taste buds, how can I compromise to buy any hand blender?
Hence, this super search for the BEST hand blender available in India! (but within my budget)

The complete yet easy guide to buying an electric hand blender as per your requirements
Do not confuse your self between hand blenders and hand mixers!
This guide is for hand blenders.
Hand blenders are suitable for mixing liquid and soft semi-liquid foods like a thick milkshake, smoothies, cake batter, egg-based dishes, etc.
Hand mixers are primarily for mixing solids & semi-solids like pizza dough, meatballs, mashed potatoes, shredded chicken, etc.
For Hand blenders, we will dig deeper to find out the best from the betters.
Factors to consider while choosing a hand blender:
- Wattage: What is watt? Watt is a unit to measure power! (That’s an easy explanation). So, more wattage means more powerful motor inside the blender! A powerful blender can easily mix tough to spin semi solids! The only downside of high wattage motor is higher electricity consumption when running at full speed!
- Functions & features: Modern blenders can do much more than just blending. Many blenders come with functions like -- whipping, beating, stirring, shredding, slicing and kneading. You should first make a rough list of things you would do with a blender and buy a blender with that feature. For blending smoothies and cakes, even a basic blender would do. Other features that you may want to look for are -- child lock for the safety of naughty children, auto cut off to save power, dry grinder to grind spices, etc…
- Form factor: You will hate bulky, heavy blenders with a short power cord. Blender should be as sleek and easy to handle as possible. Similarly, weight should not be as heavy as dumbbells -- lighter the better. A longer power cord is equally important if the electric plug is far away from your kitchen platform. If you travel a lot with cooking accessories -- get a compact, easily portable model.
- Accessories: A basic blender comes with -- a blender (yes, of course), power cord & a manual. To my surprise -- I got much more than a blender in the box. Look for a blending jar, mixing bowl, recipe booklet and various attachments for that extra happy feeling! Don’t worry about additional accessories too much if you are planning to buy a budget blender for basic usage.
Do not spend too much money if you plan to use hand blender occasionally. It is ok to have a bulky blender with a short power cord if you only plan to use it once a month. Of course, if you plan to use it regularly -- like maybe once a week -- then increase the budget and get the best hand blender as per your needs.
Top 10 Hand Blenders in India
All the blenders I’ve listed are available online. Few of them may be available offline too.
I usually purchase stuff online as there are so many choices available plus there is freedom to freely browse and choose what is best and not what has the highest profit margin for the store owner.
Ok, let me list out the top 10 blenders (I’ve researched extensively and passionately as a food lover)
1. Orpat HHB-100E WOB 250-Watt Hand Blender????
Wattage: The Orpat HHB-100E WOB hand blender comes with a 250W motor which is moderately powerful. This much wattage is decent enough to make delicious smoothies, cakes and whipped cream. Basically, the motor can handle almost everything we can expect a hand blender to do.
Functions & features: This Orpat hand blender is a bare-bones model. Basically, it is as basic as it can get. There are no extra functions to boast. It does come with 6-speed adjustment nob to adjust the speed of the blender. Lack of additional features has a positive side -- the price is low!
Form factor: The Orpat hand blender is sturdy with high-quality food grade plastic. Steel blades provided are as sharp as expected and are rust proof (stainless steel). Orpat blender is moderately compact and well designed with a comfortable handgrip. You won’t use a hand blender for more than 15 minutes at a time; Still, Orpat has ensured it is easy to hold it for more extended periods. For cleaning and storing purpose, this Orpat blender can be dismantled into smaller parts. I don’t like the white colour as it can get stained easily. Unfortunately, there are hardly any dark coloured hand blenders available 🙁
Power cord length: 2 metres
Accessories: Just 1 accessory you get with this Orpat blender -- a stand to attach hand blender to the wall! That too you need to screw it, it doesn’t come with sticky tape as the tape won’t be able to handle the weight of the blender for too long. There is another slightly higher priced version of the same Orpat blender available with comes with a jar. So you can also choose that if you want a jar.
Warranty: 1 year
????Why is Orpat HHB-100E WOB 250-Watt Hand Blender the best hand blender according to me?????
It does what it is supposed to do -- blend stuff! And it does it very well. The Orpat blender is affordable too. Of course, no fancy accessories and functions included. But remember, you are buying a blender for blending stuff, and it does that job very well.
Wattage: Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix’s motor runs at 350-Watt which makes it a tad more powerful than the Orpat blender. In other words, it can handle all of the basic blendings in the kitchen and can be a bit faster than Orpat.
Functions & features: Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix is also a bare-bones model. Very basic, just suitable for blending. No extra functions. Period. Lack of additional fancy functions makes it easily affordable.
Form factor: This one is a tiny bit heavier than the Orpat model. Which is obvious considering faster motor. Blades are sharp and rust resistant. The plastic foot can be detached for storage and cleaning. With curvy design and red outline, the Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix looks hot!
Power cord length: 2 metres
Accessories: Along with the Maharaja Turbomix Blender, what you get is -- NOTHING! Yeah, no attachments with it. A hanging loop is attached to the body of the blender so that you can hang it in the kitchen. Turbomix is necessarily an essential only blender. If you want the same blender with a jar -- then get the Turbomix+ edition.
Warranty: 2 years
Why is Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix Hand Blender the second best hand blender according to me?
Turbomix is 100 watts more powerful than the Orpat blender, agreed. Price is almost similar -- correct. Why is it second best then?
It heats up after prolonged use. If you are going to use it to prepare 3 to 4 different types of dishes in a short amount of time -- then it can become uncomfortably hot. If it is just 1 smoothie or dish you will prepare at a time, then go for it.
3. Inalsa Robot INOX 1000 800-Watt Hand Blender with Chopper
Wattage: Here comes the beast! Forget measly 250W and 350W motors, Inalsa Robot Inox 1000 Hand Blender is a mean machine with a super ultra high power 800-Watts motor! And with a chopper too to chop almost everything into a paste of tasty food. Warning -- Do not try to chop anything else apart from foodstuff. Seriously.
Functions & features: Inalsa Robot INOX 1000 800-Watt Hand Blender with Chopper is a hand blender with a chopper. Naturally, it comes with a chopper function to chop food items. A LED-lit knob helps you adjust the speed of the motor so that you can slow this beast down while preparing smoothies with smaller fruit chunks. Inalsa Robot can also whisk cream, egg and other food items in the kitchen.
Form factor: The 800W motor in Inalsa Robot Inox 1000 makes it heavy. At 1.4kg it is still not the heaviest of hand blenders. It is not that no one can lift it, prolong use in a day may cause temporary pain of hands (unless you are very muscular). It looks muscular, comes in black colour which makes it attractive to the female family members. The black colour also has another benefit -- stains less! As expected -- blades are sharp, and the stem is detachable for cleaning.
Power cord length: 1.25 metres
Accessories: Inalsa Robot INOX 1000 comes with a chopper, whisker, and a measuring cup. Wow! So many things in a package. A hanging loop attached to the body makes it easily hangable, I mean -- easy to store. But obvious, the inclusion of so many accessories and functions makes it more expensive than the previous 2 blenders.
Warranty: 2 years
Why is Inalsa Robot INOX 1000 800-Watt Hand Blender with Chopper the third best blender according to me?
There is no doubt this beast of a blender is super powerful, comes with loads of accessories and functions, looks great too.
But, it is on the expensive side of blenders. For me, there is no use of a blender apart from blending smoothies (and cake if my wife is in a perfect mood). Why should I pay so much for it?
Nevertheless, it is indeed an excellent blender -- in fact, the best (if you can afford it). Or, if you are going to use all the functions, don’t think about the price -- buy it.
4. Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix King 350-Watt Hand Blender
Wattage: Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix King’s motor runs at 350-Watt which makes it precisely similar to the non-King edition. In other words, it can handle all of the basic blendings in the kitchen without breaking a sweat.
Functions & features: Unlike its cheaper sibling, Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix King comes with extra features and functions. Apart from blending, it can also help in whisking, churning and chopping. It can easily chop onions, nuts and semi-soft vegetables like bell pepper or Shimla Mirchi.
Form factor: This one is a tiny bit heavier than the non-King version. Maharaja Turbomix King comes with a metal foot which makes it stronger and more durable compared to Maharaja Turbomix. Another benefit of a metal foot is that it can handle very hot liquids easily without deforming. Blades are sharp and rust resistant. The metal foot can be detached for storage and cleaning. The design has curves for better handling with an eye-catching red outline.
Power cord length: 2 metres
Accessories: Along with the Maharaja Turbomix King Blender, what you get is -- a beaker and a chopper. A hanging loop is attached to the body of the blender so that you can hang it in the kitchen. Turbomix King is almost like a food processor. If you want the same blender without extra accessories and cheaper price -- then get the Turbomix.
Warranty: 2 years
Why is Maharaja Whiteline Turbomix King 350-Watt Hand Blender the fourth best hand blender according to me?
The only reason I’ve put Turbomix King at #4 and Turbomix (non-King) at #2 is the price.
They both are equally good at blending stuff. Turbomix King has extra accessories and functions which can be of great help.
But, in our kitchen -- we already have a food processor which covers the extra functions offered by the King version of Maharaja hand blender.
If you want these extra functions, then go for Maharaja Turbomix King 350-Watt hand blender.
5. Philips Daily Collection HL1655/00 250-Watt Hand Blender
Wattage: Philips Daily Collection HL1655/00 is powered by a 250-Watt motor which makes it decently powerful just like the Orpat hand blender at #1 spot. Philips is guaranteeing 20 minutes of non-stop usage without overheating the motor. I know, it will depend on how hot it is in your kitchen. But on an average -- 20 minutes of comfortable blending in a stretch is what is possible with this hand blender.
Functions & features: This Philips Daily Collection blender is almost basic. Apart from blending, it can also help with whipping and whisking. So no chopping or churning functionality, use your existing mixer grinder for the same.
Another critical thing to note is -- it works at full speed all the times. There is no speed adjustment knob to decrease or increase the blending speed.
It is on an expensive little side when it comes to price vs functions. Being a Philips product -- you can rely on its reliability and durability for years to come.
Form factor: Philips has made this blender with a stainless steel rustproof metal rod for hot/cold blending. The handle is designed to ensure comfortable handling so that we can focus on preparing delicious dishes. Blades are removable for easy cleaning.
Innovative Philips has smartly made the body with no grooves. Grooves are where all the dirt gets stuck, and it is difficult to remove that dirt. Being a grooveless body, you won’t face such cleaning issues. A simple wipe with cloth/ kitchen tissue can quickly clean this beautiful blender.
The blender is lighter in weight (0.8kg) compared to other blenders discussed so far.
Overall, it looks sleek and beautiful and is easy to handle.
Power cord length: 1.2 metres
Accessories: It comes with 2 separate attachments for whipping and whisking. The whipping and whisking attachments can be beneficial depending on your usage. There is no hanging loop. Instead, a wall bracket is provided with the blender for easy storage.
Warranty: 2 years
Why is Philips Daily Collection HL1655/00 250-Watt Hand Blender the fifth best hand blender according to me?
Philips daily collection blender is a perfect blend of durability, simplicity and functionality if you consider all the facts.
What I didn’t like is the fixed speed with no adjustment knob and the price.
For basic usage, using the blender at fixed speed should be fine. But this Philips beauty is a tad more expensive compared to other basic blenders.
If you are into brands and trust the reliability of Philips kitchen appliances, then go for it.
6. Amazon Brand -- Solimo 200-Watt 3-in-1 Hand Blender
Wattage: This Solimo 3 in 1 Hand Blender is moderately powerful with a 200-Watt motor at its heart. This Solimo hand blender has the least powerful motor in this list, but that doesn’t mean it is weak. I’ve used portable 160-Watt hand blender which worked perfectly fine for my use. So, this 200-Watt motor is more than enough for basic use.
Functions & features: Luckily, when it comes to functions -- Solimo blender doesn’t shy from showing off its skills. You can blend, chop, whisk and whip with this blender. It is as skilled as a food processor, the only thing missing is grinding. The speed is adjustable in 2 steps -- regular & turbo. The motor spins at 200-Watts under turbo mode.
Form factor: Solimo hand blender is built with food grade plastic. The attachment blades are stainless steel.
The blender can be disassembled for easy cleaning.
Overall, I’ll say it looks elegant. Simple yet elegant. Solimo has taken inspiration from Apple it seems.
Power cord length: 1 metre
Accessories: Solimo has bundled all the possible accessories that can be helpful with a hand blender. You name it, and they’ve included it.
It comes with a hand blender (obviously), a chopper bowl, a chopping attachment, 1 blending jar and a whisking attachment. No sign of hanging loop or wall attachment though. You can keep this in the kitchen drawer after cleaning it (the hand blender).
Warranty: 1 year
If it has so many functions and is cheap in price too, then why is Solimo 200-Watt 3-in-1 Hand Blender at #6?
Its a new brand and I don’t trust new brands easily. Yes, Solimo is a brand of Amazon, so they won’t compromise too much on quality. But they do 🙁
In the past, I’ve used other Solimo brand accessories, and I wasn’t happy with the quality. I hope they have improved the quality of their products. One thing is for sure -- they offer excellent value for money.
Buy it if you trust Solimo and want superb value for your money. Skip it if you’re going to wait and see more customer feedback about the reliability of this new brand.
Other honourable mentions:
7. Morphy Richards HBCP 400-Watt Hand Blender

It has a slim food grade plastic body with stainless steel attachments.
HBCP 400-Watt package comes with -- Hand blender, Chopper attachment, Measuring beaker, Instruction manual, Customer care list and a warranty card.
Morphy Richards is providing 2 years warranty which is pretty standard across most of the appliance manufacturers.
8. Orpat HHB-157E-EC 250-Watt Hand Blender with Chopper
Wow! Eye-catching looks. Orpat HHB-157E-EC 250-Watt Hand Blender with Chopper appears to have come straight out of a sci-fi movie like Star Wars!
This futuristic blender with LED lit top weighs 1.26kgs.
It has a standard 250-Watt motor to handle light and moderate tasks like blending and chopping. Orpat claims that the internal gearbox mechanism is noiseless. Of course, it is not entirely silent as per what they claim by saying “noiseless”. But you can expect lesser noise while operating it.
It comes with the hand blender itself, a chopper and a beaker.
Orpat is providing just 1-year warranty on this blender.
9. Philips HR1350/C 250-Watt Hand Blender
If you are specifically looking for a Philips branded hand blender at the lowest possible price, then this one is for you.
Few people bet on the superb reliability of Philips appliances, and I agree with them.
If you want a reliable Philips made hand blender that doesn’t cost more than 1k then Philips HR1350/C 250-Watt Hand Blender is what you can buy.
250-Watt motor makes it decently powerful. No speed adjustment provided.
The body is detachable for easy cleaning. The best part is -- the attachments are dishwasher safe. But I hardly know anyone with a dishwasher at home in India.
Unique blades design provides smoother cutting action and as expected are rust free.
Body looks sleek and elegant and comes with a beaker.
Philips HR1350/C 250-Watt Hand Blender is very light and weighs just 0.8kgs.
It comes with 2-year warranty.
10. Philips Daily Collection HR1363 600-Watt Hand Blender with Chopper and Beaker
Are you looking to buy the best from one of the best kitchen appliances brand?
If yes, I am assuming that budget is not a restriction for you.
For under 3k, Philips Daily Collection HR1363 600-Watt Hand Blender with Chopper and Beaker will be the best choice for you.
It is mighty with a 600-Watt motor. It comes with a turbo switch to make use of full power of the motor to slice and chop vegetables in a jiffy.
The body, as usual, is detachable for easy cleaning and comes with double action stainless steel blades for chopping even tough vegetables and fruits.
Body looks sleek and elegant with soft grips. Due to a powerful motor, it weighs around 1.6kgs.
The package includes a beaker and a chopper.
HR1363 comes with 2-years warranty.
Which is the cheapest, lightest hand blender with the reliability of a good brand?
Ok. So the budget is tight, your usage is basic and occasional, you want something light and on top of that -- it should not be some cheap unknown brand’s hand blender.
In this case, it was too complicated for me to find a good brand hand blender with the above qualities.
But I found one after almost 240 minutes of research!
Inalsa Robot 2.5PS 150-Watt Hand Blender
This 150-Watt smart kid weighs just 0.5kgs, yes half a kg!
And, as you know -- 150-Watt power should be more than enough for essential blending.
The blender is relatively basic with no attachments or extra functions. It is a blender only blender :-p
The plastic body is detachable, and it comes with a hanging loop to hang it in the kitchen. The blades are sharp and made out of plastic too.
Just kidding, blades are rust-proof stainless steel.
It comes with a short 1-metre cord so consider this fact before buying it.
Inalsa is an old brand, and I can easily vouch for it. They’ve provided a 1-year warranty on this Inalsa Robot 2.5PS 150-Watt Hand Blender.
Is there a cordless portable hand blender available in India?
I found a lot of people asking this question on Amazon. Few people want a battery operated hand blender which can work without mains electricity supply.
So, is there such a wireless, battery operated hand blender available?
Yes & No 🙁
Yes, there are options -- but hardly.
The reason being power consumption. Hand blenders require at least 125-Watt motor to perform basic blending. A 125-Watt motor will easily drain batteries in a few minutes. Be it rechargeable batteries or Alkaline batteries like Duracell, high power motor found in blenders can take up a huge amount of battery capacity in a go.
I found the following options --
Click on each of the above images to open the linked Amazon store page.
Remember -- they cannot substitute an electrically operated hand blender.
They run on 2x AA batteries and come with a weak motor. Portable battery operated hand blenders are only good for mixing coffee (for froth/foam) and beating eggs. Do not expect these battery operated hand blenders to be able to make smoothies.
How to take care of your hand blender? (Quick maintenance tips for safety and durability of a hand blender)
Just a few easy tips you can keep in mind while using your soon to arrive hand blender --
- Unplug the electric wire after each use & especially before cleaning or removing attachments to avoid accidental shocks or spinning of blades.
- Never wash the main body of the hand blender under tap water. It has an electrical motor in it; if water enters the motor it can pose an electrical shock risk! Clean the main body with a slightly damp cloth first and then a dry towel, wait for at least two hours before using the blender again.
- You can wash provided attachments but avoid re attaching wet parts to the main body until they are completely dry.
- Do not use local dishwashing powders and metallic scrub to clean attachments. Use gentle dishwashing liquids like Vim and soft cloth/ sponge to clean off the dirt.
- Store/ hang the blender and accessories in a dry place.
These small tips will help with your safety and longer life of the hand blender. All in all, take the best care of your best hand blender for a better experience of you both 🙂
